How do I start a session?

Open the app and tap "Create Session". Share the 6-character code with other devices. Once everyone has joined, tap "Start Recording" to trigger the synchronized flash and begin recording.

How many devices can join?

Up to 6 devices can join a single session simultaneously.

Where is my footage saved?

All video is saved directly to your device's camera roll. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

What is the white flash for?

The white flash happens simultaneously on all devices. It creates a visible sync point in every clip, making it easy to align footage in any video editor.

The app says permissions are missing

SyncShot requires Camera, Microphone, and Photo Library permissions to record and save video. Go to your device Settings → SyncShot and enable all three permissions.
